1) Yes, this is the real picture. Yes, Palin is a work of Photoshop. No, I did not Photoshop - that proved InnocuousFun had never known or heard of before this. No, not a "real" gun.
When other sources contradict that account, or my statements here, rely on the latter. FactCheck, so I've been able to discern, is as dry and non-partisan, as can be expected for the Internet - certainly better than you'll get from my own forays bloggery campaign!
To avoid: the Fox News article about the episode, which manages to be a rule against a rival news organization apparently poor fact checking, bad time on points that could have been confirmed by either FactCheck read the story or contact me. I'm flattered to think Elizabeth was my girlfriend - then or ever - but, very unfortunately, this was not the case.
2) No, I can not provide any information about Elizabeth. No, I can not tell his version of events. I feel uncomfortable making statements on their behalf or taking on the role of being the "manager" or something similar, for her part, she is mostly concerned about your privacy. Both are full of mixed feelings about the Photoshop image, which makes issuing a definitive statement "difficult, so it seems clear that the blogosphere / commentosphere inevitably find their own meanings for anything that we attempt to say. This is how the world works - but the main point is that we want the types of all this was going, not our lives as much as the inboxes of people. More on this later.
3) Thanks for your interest, but I am not inclined to participate in any online forum, guest blogs, podcasts. Major news organizations must cover the FactCheck story. If you want to put me on national television, get in touch, but only if they are willing to pay travel expenses to a place I like to visit anyway, as well as charitable donations. What I really would prefer going to put on "Jeopardy!" and this is my story cutesy Alex asks me after the first commercial break.
My reticence does not stem from any hostility to anyone who is writing with such requests, but mostly I feel that personally I have little more to say what I'm saying here, and that time is really everyone would be better spend covering real news.
4) I am flattered by those who think that somehow have the power to clean the shop Palin off the Internet, but this seems unrealistic in the extreme. Strangers on my bus to work in the morning I saw the thing. Google returns hundreds of thousands of hits for "" Sarah Palin bikini. It's out of my hands - so if you agree with my statements on this page or not, do not hold the 'existence of the image store, or distributed scope, over my head as something I want to be responsible.
Bikini swimsuit thong, While I do not like or accept my photo is used for profit, whatever its altered state without my permission and to my knowledge. If you see sold in any context, please let me know. This can also be a losing battle but, frankly, is quite rare to see my picture (and the body of my friend) around the internet - I really do not want to appear on a shirt.
